Toto, We're Not In Kansas Anymore!

Hello My Dear Friends!
Phew, what a whirlwind of a week I've spun through in my old church attic studio! I was like Dorothy in the tornado,🌪️👠🧺 packing dot cards and paper samples, editing YouTube videos, coaching students🧡, and doing my FIRST ever product review. I'm also up to my elbows in watercolor, crafting not one but FOUR sweet pup portraits 🐕🦮🐩🐕‍🦺 for a client's nursery. It's a lot of work, but when you love what you do, it's worth it! 🩷

I woke up Monday morning feeling like 🍁 Autumn 🍂and 🎃Pumpkin Spice, so I made a cup of Chai tea and proceeded to dye my hair RED.😂 My husband jokes that he's been married to seven different women. (That could mean a lot of things, but I think he's referring to all the hair colors throughout our 21 years together!)

I did not hold a workshop this past Wednesday, I took most of the day off to spend with my teenage daughter, we both needed a re-set! I ended up doing a YouTube Livestream to talk about burnout and art block, and I read a poem about loving and nurturing the ✨light✨ we all have within us. It's something I think we could use more conversation about! (You might even get to see my new *fall frenzy* hair color!)

Did you catch Friday's Daniel Smith LIVE? We had an amazing guest from the UK, Tom Shepherd. So much 🌈COLOR🌈 and good energy! And, no big deal😜, but I was totally honored to get to host in place of John Cogley! WHAT IS LIFE?? 🥹

To wrap things up, I don't mean to get overly sentimental, but I truly want to express my gratitude to each and every one of you reading this. I could not do what I do without all of you. Every email and YouTube subscriber, Instagram follower, student and customer allows me to provide for my family.
Being the primary caregiver/educator for my adolescent daughter with special needs is both a privilege and a challenge, and I am so grateful to be able to work from home to be with her. In between workshops and teaching, I am either running to do continence care and mealtime, or stopping for snuggles and reading time. This work not only feeds my soul, but it allows me to literally feed my family. I deeply appreciate your support and I am honored that you are here!
Okay Love you bye!
